As the pitch increases more space gets created between flights and the speed is maintained at a regular pace so that the conveyor does not stop working.

In variable Pitch Single flight, the pitch keeps on increasing per flight. Because of more space between the flights, flowing material is conveyed with more speed and there are no chances of any stoppage.
